In a race that wasnt even particularly close, and for the second year in a row, Guns N Roses have won the honors for Tour of the Year in the 2012 Ultimate Classic Rock Awards, as decided by our annual readers poll.

The group won by a landslide, taking 38% of the total vote and besting the second-ranked Kiss / Motley Crue tour by nearly ten percentage points. Kiss and the Crue captured 29% of the overall vote. Those two tours captured more than two-thirds of all the votes that were cast, while former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash came in a distant third with 7%.

Jakarta Show Postponed Until Tomorrow & Venue Moved

Tonights Guns N Roses show in Jakarta at Lapangan D Senayan is officially postponed until tomorrow (Dec 16) and moved to MEIS (Mata Elang International Stadium) Indoor Stadium, Ancol. Please note that the show time will be 1pm and doors are scheduled to open at 11am.

This is due to the outdoor stage at Lapangan D Senayan being damaged by the heavy rains that occurred yesterday afternoon. Despite best efforts to remedy the situation, its been determined that the outdoor stage does not meet the necessary safety requirements for tonight.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this unfortunate incident and hope that fans will understand that Guns N Roses want nothing more than to deliver an amazing and safe show for their loyal fans.

Tickets to the original show will be honored at the new venue and we hope to see you all there tomorrow at 1pm.

Ticket holders who cannot make it to the show tomorrow can request a refund at Rajakarcis.

The initial lineup has been revealed for the 26th annual edition of Neil Youngs Bridge School Benefit Concert, which is scheduled to take place October 20 and 21 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.

In addition to Young headlining the event, accompanied by his frequent backing band Crazy Horse, the benefit will feature sets from Guns N Roses, Jack White, Foster the People, The Flaming Lips, and comic actor Steve Martin performing with his bluegrass group, The Steep Canyon Rangers.

To make room for new stuff, Guns N Roses touring crew recently went through the bands warehouse and cleared out a bunch of gear, equipment and props the band no longer need. These items are being listed on eBay. Click here by seller dvamp2u (the only legitimate seller of this gear). A number of items such as amplifiers, keyboards, rack/outboard gear, guitar effects, pedal boards, staging, props, back drops and road cases will be listed over the next few weeks. Check the eBay page regularly for new listings. Unless specified, we cannot identify which (if any) tour these items are from, nor can we accommodate any requests to get items autographed or authenticated (please do not ask). More information can be found in the descriptions of each item. Everything will be sold at no reserve. A Letter From Axl Rose To Fans And Cleveland

To: Cleveland, Ohio, Guns N' Roses Fans and everyone who's shown support for my decision regarding the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

I seriously didn't plan on or expect the overwhelmingly positive response and public support for my decision regarding the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. With such a generous outpouring of solidarity from fans, media outlets, writers and other artists, I'm truly humbled, blown away and unbelievably relieved! To be honest, I thought it would go the other way and was just hoping to weather the storm. As I said, I sincerely didn't want to disappoint anyone. It gets old being the outlaw even if "it's only rock and roll".

It took a lot of focus and soul searching to be sincere and informative while making a genuine effort to be somewhat diplomatic. We made, what I feel, are real efforts to learn about the Hall and the Board, spoke as I said with the president and various members, and though I inducted Elton John and Bernie Taupin in '94 saying something to the effect of "I'm learning what the Hall's about..."

I still don't exactly know or understand what the Hall is or how or why it makes money, where the money goes, who chooses the voters and why anyone or this board decides who, out of all the artists in the world that have contributed to this genre, officially "rock" enough to be in the Hall?

This isn't an attack. These are genuine issues I don't have enough verified information on to have more than rough ideas. Certainly not enough information to make any judgments about.

I would like to apologize to Cleveland, Ohio for not apologizing to them beforehand for not attending [the ceremony] in their city. I think they know how much I genuinely love performing there. Cleveland does in fact Rock!!

Now that the smoke's cleared a little, any desperate, misguided attacks have been just that, a pathetic stab at gossip, some lame vindictiveness, the usual entitlement crap, he's obsessed, crazy, volatile, a hater. I once bought a homeless woman a slice of pizza who yelled at me she wanted soup. We got her the soup. You can get your own.

Again: HUGE thanks to the fans and to everyone for the incredible public support. My congratulations to the other artists inducted. And my apologies to the city and people of Cleveland, Ohio. I hope you'll forgive me and we hope to see you again soon!

Guns N' Roses' "Greatest Hits" makes an eye-popping jump from No. 31 to No. 3 on the Billboard charts after it was priced for 25-cents in both the Google Play and AmazonMP3 stores for ONE day last week. It sold 85,000 with a 618% gain (up from 12,000 the week previous).
