Tour Diary 2025: Lithuania, Poland, Hungary (Nightrain Exclusive)

Tour Diary 2025: Lithuania, Poland, Hungary (Nightrain Exclusive)

Hello there!

Since the last update, we’ve been heading south from Finland, and visiting some new and some familiar places.

The first ever Guns N' Roses show in Lithuania was in Kaunas. The fans at the Darius and Girenas Stadium braved the elements and very treated to a three hour GN'R show! The day started cloudy and it turned rainy during the show. This didn't stop the band from adding some songs to the set. They added the Black Sabbath song Never Say Die, Madagascar made its first appearance on this European leg and This I Love hasn't been played since the show in Czechia.

Next up was Poland and a show in Warsaw. At one point, Axl tried to get the audience to count themselves to see how many were present... Knockin' On Heaven's Door was dedicated to Sherman Hodges.

This show also saw Duff sing So Fine for the first time since the show in Mexico back in 2020. GN'R also did, Junior's Eyes, the Black Sabbath cover they premiered at the Back To The Beginning show earlier this month.

From the capital of Poland to the capital of Hungary. Budapest was next. It was almost to the two years after the last Guns N' Roses show in the city. Maybe that's why the Hungarian fans got to witness the band play one of the most mixed sets in a while. The tour debut of Shadow Of Your Love and There Was A Time. But that's not all. Locomotive played for the first time since India, Sorry for the first time since the show in Thailand and Prostitute for the second time on this tour.

Leaving Budapest behind, the tour headed to Belgrade, Serbia. Another over three hour show. Axl forgot to introduce Duff before New Rose, so he made up for it after the song by introducing Duff multiple times!

Sofia, Bulgaria was next. This was a hot show in the scorching July sun. Axl mentioned that the scenery reminded him of Los Angeles.

Now we have just three shows left on this amazing European leg. Time flies!

Tour Diary 2025: Scandinavia (Nightrain Exclusive)

Hello again. It's time for another update from the road.

We're currently in Lithuania for the first ever Guns N' Roses show here. Since the last tour update, we've been to Scandinavia and Finland.

It was a very windy and chilly evening in Aarhus, Denmark. This was also the first show with Public Enemy opening!

During the Danish show, the band played Human Being, and Axl dedicated it to David Johansen. After the show, there was a barbecue for the crew before we headed to Norway.

Next up was Trondheim, Norway. The crew got there by tour bus and ferry. A curiosity about the Trondheim show is that it ended about an hour before sunset! You don't see that in many places.

After the two shows in Denmark and Norway, another long bus ride to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. And it got windy there too. Luckily the show the following day was in an indoor stadium. The show was also Dijon's 20th birthday.

After the Swedish show, the band minus Dizzy and Melissa, flew to Birmingham, UK to take part in the Back To The Beginning show. Most of the crew took the ferry to Turku, Finland before the bus ride to Tampere.

Guns N' Roses' show in Finland was also the first time they played in the city of Tampere. As a special bonus, the Finnish fans got to see Michael Monroe play harmonica on Bad Obsession! There was also the surprise addition of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and the tour debut of Prostitute!

There's about three weeks left of this leg of the Because What You Want N' What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things tour.

Hope you've had a chance to see the band this summer, or have plans to see them during the rest of July. Or maybe on the next leg in Latin America.

Tour Diary 2025: Germany, UK (Nightrain Exclusive)

Tour Diary 2025: Germany, UK (Nightrain Exclusive)

Hello from Scandinavia! Where the sun sets after 10pm.

Hard to believe we’re over halfway done with the European leg of the Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things Tour. Time flies.

Been a busy few weeks for the band and crew. After headlining the Rock For People festival in the Czech Republic, the band headed to Germany for two shows.

The first one was in Düsseldorf and it was actually the first time Guns N' Roses played in the city since their first ever European tour back in 1987! This was also Dizzy's birthday, so Axl had the crowd sing Happy Birthday to the birthday boy.

From there the tour continued to Munich. This time GN'R was the first band to have a show at the Allianz Arena. On previous visits to the city of Munich, the band played at the Olympiastadion.

After two great shows in Germany, it was time to fly over to the UK. Birmingham's Villa Park was the venue for the first of two shows in the UK. Fortunately, the weather was nice and there was no English summer rain during the shows.

The second and last UK show on this leg, was at Wembley Stadium. To mark the occasion, the band played Dead Horse for the first time since 2021. GN'R's cover of the New York Dolls' Human Being got its European tour debut in London.

After rocking Wembley Stadium, the Guns N’ Roses tour has arrived in Scandinavia. Next up we have three shows in here. In Aarhus, Denmark, Trondheim, Norway and Stockholm, Sweden.

From there, the journey took the crew along the Mediterranean coast to the land of Espresso. Florence, Italy to be more specific, for a headlining show at Firenze Rocks! Last time the band headlined this festival was back in 2018.

Next up on the itinerary was Rock For People. A festival in the Czech Republic. The band had a great time at the festival, which was held in Hradec Kralove.

Tour Diary 2025: Middle East, Georgia, and Turkey (Nightrain Exclusive)

Tour Diary 2025: Middle East, Georgia, and Turkey (Nightrain Exclusive)

Greetings from Europe!

The band just wrapped up their shows in the Middle East, Georgia and Turkey. A first visit to Bahrain, followed by an indoor show in scorching Saudi Arabia, a return to Abu Dhabi, a first visit to Georgia and finally a welcome return to Turkey.

The outdoor show in Bahrain was quite cozy with those evening dessert temperatures. Moving on to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, another tour stop where temperatures were quite high. Fortunately the show was indoors. This show saw the tour debuts of My Michelle and You're Crazy.

Following a couple of days off, the last show in the Middle East was in Abu Dhabi and the band is just getting started A three hour plus show with tour debuts of Reckless Life, Used To Love Her and The General. If that wasn't enough, the band also played their cover of the New York Dolls' Human Being for the first time, ever!

After the heat in the Middle East, the GN'R crew headed to a new destination for the band, Georgia. The show took place next to the shores of the Black Sea. Not only was this the first time GN'R visited Georgia, it was also the first time on this tour that they performed Catcher In The Rye. Heading west, the last show before the GN'R crew gets their tour buses was in Istanbul, Turkey. A country where Axl, Duff and Slash haven't performed since 1993. For the first time on this tour, the band added Out Ta Get Me to the set, as the second song! Knockin' On Heaven's Door was dedicated to Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi.

After a quick nap on the GN’R plane, Guns N’ Roses arrived in Portugal.

Next the band will start criss-crossing continental Europe. The first show is in a few days. On June 6th to be precise. In Coimbra, Portugal!

Who knows what surprises the band has in store on this tour.

Tour Diary 2025: Taiwan, Bangkok, Mumbai (Nightrain Exclusive)

Tour Diary 2025: Taiwan, Bangkok, Mumbai (Nightrain Exclusive)

Hey there!

The GN'R train keeps rolling through Asia N’ The Middle East!

After South Korea and Japan, the tour hit Taiwan where the heavy rain fortunately stopped before the fans were let into the venue.

The Taiwanese show also saw the tour debut of New Rose, sung by Duff McKagan, performed for the first time since the summer of 2018. On top of that, Taiwan also saw the tour debut of Civil War!

After a short flight, the band and crew arrived in the more tropical climate of Bangkok, Thailand where they played a more intimate indoor show. From Thailand, the tour continued to the heat in Mumbai, India and a massive outdoor show.

The show day in Mumbai started off rainy, but fortunately the rain stopped. The venue went from being dry and dusty to wet and muddy in less than a day. Still, it didn't stop the fans from enjoying the show. The band performed Locomotive, Pretty Tied Up and Yesterdays for the first time on this tour!

From the slip and slides of Mumbai to the desert of Bahrain. It's quite the contrast. Next up, three shows in the Middle East. Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
